Kartik Aaryan and Triptii Dimri have wrapped up the first schedule of Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3, the 33-year-old actor announced on Wednesday, dropping a picture with the Animal star from the set of the upcoming horror comedy on Instagram.
“Ting ting ting tiding ting ting. And we’ve wrapped up the 1st schedule,” wrote Kartik, who will be reprising his role as Rooh Baba in the third instalment of the horror comedy franchise. “This small break between schedules is gonna make me impatient… Rooh Baba’s Cape has some different magic,” added the Satyaprem Ki Katha actor.
The behind-the-scenes picture shows Triptii posing with Kartik, who is holding a clapstick in his hand. The clapstick partially covers the actress’s face and only her eyes are visible in the photograph.
Production company T-Series had announced Triptii’s inclusion in the cast last month. The makers had also announced that Vidya Balan will return as Manjulika in the upcoming horror comedy.
Directed by Anees Bazmee, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 is slated to hit the theatres on November 1 on the occasion of Diwali.
The first instalment of the horror comedy franchise, released in 2007, focused on Avni Chaturvedi (Vidya), a woman grappling with dissociative identity disorder. The movie also starred Akshay Kumar, Shiney Ahuja, Ameesha Patel and Paresh Rawal in key roles. The next Bhool Bhulaiya movie, which featured Kiara Advani and Tabu in addition to Kartik, revolved around an entrapped spirit seeking revenge.
