It’s not love at first sight for Kiara Advani’s Katha even as Kartik Aaryan’s Satyaprem falls for her head over heels in the SatyaPrem Ki Katha trailer, promising a rollercoaster ride of emotions for both.

Dropped on June 5, the two-minute-35-second trailer shows Satyaprem’s (Kartik Aaryan) search for a bride. During a garba event, Satyaprem comes across Katha (Kiara Advani) and hopelessly falls in love with her. Though it turns out that Katha already has a boyfriend, Satyaprem confesses her love to his dream woman and promises to wait for her. The clip ends in a melancholy note with both Satyaprem and Katha in tears over their soured relationship.

Directed by Sameer Vidwans, the SatyaPrem Ki Katha promises to trace the romantic journey of both Satyapream and Katha even after marriage, much like the Rani Mukerji-Vivek Oberoi-starrer Saathiya (2002). Set against mesmerising backdrops in Kashmir, the trailer captures the crackling chemistry between Kartik and Kiara, who became a hit after their pairing in Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 (2022).

The romantic number Naseeb Se, which was released by the makers on May 27, also gave a look into the romantic journey of Satyaprem and Katha as they travel through the snow-capped mountains of Kashmir.

Apart from Kartik and Kiara, SatyaPrem Ki Katha also features Supriya Pathak, Gajraj Rao and Shikha Talsania. The musical romantic is slated to arrive in cinemas on June 29.
