Remember Madhuri Dixit sizzling in the Choli Ke Peeche song from Subhash Ghai’s 1993 blockbuster Khalnayak? Kareena Kapoor has added her own oomph to Ila Arun-Alka Yagnik’s iconic number, recreated by Diljit Doshanj and IP Singh along with the original singers, for the third music video dropped from Crew on Wednesday.

Also featuring Tabu and Kriti Sanon, the music video was released by the record label Tips music. The recreated Choli Ke Peeche kicks off with the three lead actresses striding down an airport runway in vibrant red uniforms and reaches the climax when Kareena raises the roof with her thumkas in a pink chiffon sari.

Apart from comedian Kapil Sharma and Diljit, the music video also features Rajesh Sharma and Saswata Chatterjee — two actors who have been working in Tollywood. It offers a sneak peek into Kriti's chemistry with Diljit and at the same time showcases the adventurous journey of the three iconoclastic air hostesses who moonlight as gold smugglers in the movie.

Ila, one of the singers, also serves as the lyricist of the song directed by Farah Khan Kunder. The other music videos released from Crew are Naina and Ghagra songs.

The trailer dropped by production house Balaji Motion Pictures on March 16 revealed that Crew’s storyline revolves around three discontented air hostesses who embark on a risky mission to improve their financial situation.

At the trailer launch event, the three lead actresses stole the show with their camaraderie. While Kriti and Kareena stunned in black, Tabu turned heads in a metallic ensemble.
