Kareena Kapoor Khan, who turned 44 on September 21, looked stunning in a red slit dress during her pre-birthday celebration on Friday, show pictures shared by the actress on Instagram.
A couple of grayscale photos show the actress posing with a bunch of balloons in her hand. Kareena wore her hair down and opted for kohl-rimmed smokey eyes to complement her off-shoulder dress. Matching red stilettos and drop earrings further enhanced her glamour quotient.
“Bringing in my birthday,” the actress captioned her post.
Priyanka Chopra Jonas, Konkona Sensharma and Manish Malhotra were among the celebrities who commented on Kareena’s post, sending her birthday wishes. “Happy birthday bebo,” wrote Priyanka, while Konkona commented, “Happiest birthday gorgeous.” Manish, on the other hand, posted a string of heart emojis in the comments section.
On the work front, Kareena has been earning plaudits from moviegoers for her portrayal of Detective Inspector Jaspreet “Jass” Bhamra in Hansal Mehta’s latest whodunnit The Buckingham Murders.
Further, PVR Cinemas has announced a film festival to celebrate 25 years of Kareena’s acting career in Bollywood, making her the first Indian woman to have a multi-city film festival dedicated to her by the multiplex chain.
Kareena made her acting debut in 2000 with JP Dutta’s Refugee. Her filmography includes movies like Omkara (2006), Asoka (2001), Jab We Met (2007), 3 Idiots (2009), Heroine (2012), Udta Punjab (2016), Bajrangi Bhaijaan (2015) and Laal Singh Chaddha (2022).
Kareena made her OTT debut with Sujoy Ghosh’s Netflix original Jaane Jaan last year. The actress is set to star in Rohit Shetty’s Singham Again alongside Ajay Devgn, Akshay Kumar, Ranveer Singh, Deepika Padukone, Tiger Shroff, Arjun Kapoor and Jackie Shroff. The fifth instalment in Rohit’s cop universe, Singham Again is slated to hit theatres on November 1 on the occasion of Diwali.
