Kareena Kapoor Khan, Karisma Kapoor and Navya Naveli Nanda attended actor Aadar Jain and his girlfriend Alekha Advani's roka ceremony on Saturday in Mumbai.
Aadar’s sister-in-law Anissa Malhotra Jain took to Instagram to share pictures from the ceremony.
One of the photos shows Alekha looking gorgeous in a white pearl-studded lehenga. Anissa, on the other hand, sported a turquoise-and-white lehenga sari. Navya dazzled in a beige-and-golden suit, while the Kapoor sisters exuded grace in embellished blue ensembles. Karisma stunned in a navy blue Anarkali, adorned with golden zari work. Kareena looked regal in a blue sari draped over an embroidered sleeveless blouse. A bejewelled choker, kohl-rimmed eyes and a sleek bun further elevated Kareena’s glamour quotient.
In Punjabi culture, a roka ceremony is an important pre-wedding tradition that formally announces the couple’s marriage.
Aadar twinned with his fiancée in a satiny white kurta and matching trousers. Son of Raj Kapoor’s daughter Reema Kapoor, Aadar is known for films like Hello Charlie (2021) and Qaidi Band (2017). He has an elder brother Armaan Jain, who is also an actor. Earlier this year, Aadar shared pictures of his engagement with Alekha. The photos show Aadar getting down on one knee and proposing to Alekha by the seaside in the Maldives.
Aadar made his relationship with Alekha official on November 13, 2023 by sharing a picture of them holding hands on Instagram. Alekha is an Indian entrepreneur, a model and founder of Way well, a Mumbai-based wellness community.
Aadar’s cousins, Kareena and Karisma, posed for the lens with Anissa, who is a celebrity stylist. While Kareena recently appeared in Rohit Shetty’s Singham Again, Karisma was last seen in Homi Adajania’s mystery-thriller Murder Mubarak.
Aadar was previously rumoured to be in a relationship with Alekha’s close friend, Tara Sutaria. Tara is an actress, who made her Bollywood debut with Dharma Productions’ Student of the Year 2 in 2019.
