Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani starring Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt continued to perform well at the domestic box office, raking in approximately Rs 3.65 crore nett on Day 14, taking its total collection so far to Rs 121.23 crore nett, as per Box Office India reports.
The Karan Johar-directed romantic drama has grossed Rs 240 crore worldwide, according to the report. With Dharmendra, Shabana Azmi, Jaya Bachchan, Aamir Bashir, Churni Ganguly, Tota Roy Choudhury, Kshitee Jog and Namit Das in key roles, the plot revolves around how cultural differences impact relationships.
Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani had a decent opening at the box office on July 28, earning Rs 11.1 crore nett on the day of its release. The film ended its first week of theatrical run with a collection of Rs 73.33 crore nett, fetching Rs 6.75 crore on its second Friday. It remained steady during the weekdays, collecting Rs 16.15 crore nett between Monday and Thursday.
Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani, which is Johar’s 25th anniversary film, has emerged as the fourth-highest Week 2 grosser among Hindi films released in 2023. Shah Rukh Khan’s Pathaan occupied the top spot with a collection of Rs 453 crore nett in 14 days. Prabhas-starrer Adipurush (Rs 282 crore nett) came second and The Kerala Story secured the third position with Rs 171 crore.
