Filmmaker Karan Johar is set to replace Salman Khan as the host of Bigg Boss 17 this weekend, reveals a new promo video shared by Colors TV on Saturday, offering a glimpse into an eventful Weekend Ka Vaar episode.
The video shows an intense moment where Karan Johar loses his composure, reacting strongly to Abhishek Kumar's aggressive behaviour within the confines of the Bigg Boss house. The promo showcases Abhishek throwing a fit, removing his microphone, and unleashing a tirade of screams following a previous day's physical altercation with fellow contestants Tehelka Bhai and Arun.
Karan doesn't hold back. "Aapne iss ghar mein humesha line cross ki hai. Jis tarah aapki reaction thi ye normal reaction nahi hai," he tells Abhishek. In response, Abhishek tries to explain that Karan misunderstood the whole situation.
The tension escalates as Karan confronts Abhishek, questioning his authority to dictate when the host should speak or remain silent. "Aapka kya adhikar hai ki aap mujhe batao ki main kab bolun aur kab chup rahun," Karan asserts, adding fuel to the already fiery exchange.
The Saturday episode takes an unexpected turn as host Karan announces the elimination of Sunny Arya, also known as Tehelka, from the show. This decision comes in the aftermath of Tehelka's physical altercation with Abhishek, a clear violation of one of Bigg Boss's rules against physical violence.
The emotional impact of Tehelka's eviction is palpable, especially on his closest friend Arun Mashetty, who breaks down in tears. Abhishek, the focal point of Tehelka's aggression, is visibly distraught and apologetic. He tearfully expresses regret, emphasising that he didn't anticipate Tehelka's elimination.
