Filmmaker Karan Johar on Monday penned a savage note, ripping into people who opt for fillers, botox, makeup and plastic surgery, saying they will end up looking like having been stung by a bee.
“Fillers laga lo fulfilment nahin milti…Make up laga lo umar hai ghat thi (Fillers don't provide fulfillment... Put on makeup, age is decreasing),” the 51-year-old filmmaker wrote on his Instagram Stories.
“Karlo jitna bhi Botox, lagoge jaise madhumakkhi ne kaat liya (Apply as much Botox as you want, you'll end up looking like you’ve been stung by a bee),” he wrote with a touch of annoyance.
In his note, the Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani director mentioned how external appearance changes could never bring satisfaction, pointing out how undergoing nose jobs does not turn ordinary scents into perfume. “Naak badalne se gandh itar nahi banti. Going under the knife se exterior badal bhi jaaye (Changing the nose doesn't make the scent a perfume. Even if the exterior changes after going under the knife).”
On the work front, Karan is all set to co-produce Vasan Bala’s thriller Jigra with Alia, slated to release in September. He recently produced Sagar Ambre and Muhammad Asif Ali’s Yodha starring Sidharth Malhotra, Disha Patani and Raashi Khanna under the banner of Dharma Productions.
