The much-anticipated trailer for Suriya’s upcoming action film Kanguva, which marks the Tamil film debut of Disha Patani and Bobby Deol, was unveiled on Monday by the makers on director Siruthai Siva’s birthday.

“Incredibly proud of all that we have done together as a team, thank you, have a very very happy birthday dearest Siva!! Here’s our #Kanguvatrailer for you dear all,” Suriya wrote on X, dropping the trailer.

The two minute-37-second long trailer offers a glimpse into the intense conflict between Kanguva and Udhiran, portrayed by Suriya and Bobby Deol, respectively. The story revolves around the titular fierce warrior whose peaceful existence with his clan is threatened by the arrival of Udhiran, who seeks vengeance against Kanguva.

The background score composed by Devi Sri Prasad enhances the adventurous appeal of the trailer which includes soaring eagles, galloping horses and majestic elephants.

In addition to Suriya, Bobby and Disha , Kanguva features Jagapathi Babu, Natty Natarajan, KS Ravikumar and Kovai Sarala in key roles.

Kanguva will be released in two parts, with the first set to premiere on October 10.
