Nawazuddin Siddiqui-starrer comedy drama Tiku Weds Sheru, produced by Kangana Ranaut's Manikarnika Films, is all set for its direct-to-digital premiere on June 23, streaming platform Amazon Prime Video announced on Monday.

Directed by Sai Kabir Srivastva, Tiku Weds Sheru stars Avneet Kaur in the lead role. The dramedy revolves around two ambitious yet eccentric individuals who aspire to achieve success in Bollywood. The film will exclusively premiere in India and across 240 countries and territories worldwide, Prime Video announced in a statement.
This is Kangana's debut production under the Manikarnika Films banner. The Queen actress said it was a "challenging-yet-enriching" experience to work as a creative producer on the film.
"Tiku Weds Sheru is a very special film for me, as it’s the first title under Manikarnika Films. This is the first time I took charge as a producer and I absolutely enjoyed the process... My team and I are delighted to partner with Prime Video and take our film to viewers across 240 countries and territories worldwide... I hope the audience will shower love on the film," the actor-producer said in a statement.
Kangana also took to Twitter on Monday to announce the project. “Here’s my first production under my own banner… Hold tight for a hilarious joyride filled with love, dreams, and non-stop laughter as Tiku & Sheru chase their ultimate bollywood dream! 💗,” she tweeted.
Aparna Purohit, head of India originals at Amazon Prime Video, said they are delighted to partner with Kangana's production banner for the comedy drama about "dreams, passion and transformation".
