The peppy dance number Kala Chashma from the 2016 film Baar Baar Dekho, starring Katrina Kaif and Sidharth Malhotra, has resurfaced as a trending number on social media, following a performance of the Norwegian dance group Quick Style on the track.
A popular party track, Kala Chashma is sung by Amar Arshi and went viral in 2016 when Baar Baar Dekho released. In the film, the song is set in a wedding sequence, accompanied by Katrina and Sidharth’s killer dance moves. Cut to 2022, celebrities from across the globe, from K-pop singers to celebrity TV hosts in the US, are shaking a leg to this high-energy Bollywood number.
Quick Style
This time, it all began with the Norwegian dance group Quick Style, who shimmied to a medley of Indian and Pakistani songs at their friend Suleman Malik’s wedding, and a clip of the boys jiving to Kala Chashma went viral on social media. Their medley also had other hit Bollywood tracks like Churake dil mera from Baazigar, Tumse milke dil ka from Main Hoon Na and Goriya from Coolie No. 1.
Quick Style have choreographed for K-pop band BTS and shot to fame after winning Norske Talenter, a Norwegian version of the reality show America’s Got Talent.

K-pop group WINNER members Yoon (Seungyoon), Jinu (Jinwoo), Hoony (Seunghoon) and Mino joined the viral dance trend, slipped on the glasses and showed off their steps in a ‘pajama party’.
