Kajol dropped a 2023 rewind video on Instagram on New Year’s Eve, recalling her top fashion picks of the year and reminiscing moments with friends, family and co-stars.
“It was a good year after all. Laughed a lot, had some great experiences, did a bucket full of amazing projects, celebrated more things I can count and spent time with the most lovely people,” wrote the 49-year-old actress, bidding goodbye to 2023.
From the June issue of the luxury magazine Lifestyle Asia India featuring the elegant cast and crew of Lust Stories 2 on its cover to Kajol and her daughter Nysa Devgan’s glamorous look at the opening ceremony of Nita Mukesh Ambani Cultural Centre, the video has it all.
One of the sequences shows Kajol enjoying Durga Puja with actor Jackie Shroff in a traditional outfit. While Kajol opted for a golden saree and a matching blouse, the 66-year-old actor looked dapper in a quirky yellow coat.
Some of the slides provide a glimpse into the quality time Kajol spent with her family in 2023. A selfie with her son Yug Devgan, a family portrait at the 2023 Cricket World Cup Final in Ahmedabad and a photograph with her nephews, Aaman and Danish Devgn, form part of the video montage. The Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham actress also posed with husband Ajay Devgn inside a studio.
Kajol looked equally ethereal in western and ethnic outfits, rocking a bodycon dress and a sequined pink saree in separate pictures. Red and black seem to have been her go-to colours in 2023. The actress also shared a frame with fashion designer Manish Malhotra in the lookback video.
Kajol will next star in Kriti Sanon’s Netflix thriller Do Patti, slated to release in 2024.
