Kajol has dropped a new behind-the-scenes video featuring Kriti Sanon from the sets of their upcoming crime-thriller film Do Patti, slated to stream on Netflix later this year.

“Behind the scenes, ahead of the curve,” wrote Kajol on Instagram on Sunday. The BTS video of a photoshoot for the upcoming film also features producer-screenwriter Kanika Dhillon and Netflix vice president Monika Shergill.

The video begins with Kajol entering the set of the photoshoot in a golden-brown column dress featuring a plunging neckline and a thigh high slit. She strikes poses with Kriti, who looks stunning in an olive-green ensemble — a cropped shirt paired with flared trousers and a matching tie. Kanika and Monika also appear in white outfits.

The teaser of Do Patti, dropped by the makers in February, shows Kajol playing an upright cop who faces a moral dilemma when Kriti’s convict disrupts the delicate balance between truth and evidence.

Set in the majestic hills of North India, the crime thriller is Kriti’s first venture as a producer and is backed by her production banner Blue Butterfly Films, which she launched in July 2023.

Directed by Shashanka Chaturvedi, Do Patti also marks Kriti’s second collaboration with Kajol after Rohit Shetty’s 2015 romantic action comedy Dilwale. Besides, the film also stars popular TV actor Shaheer Sheikh.

The film is co-produced by Kanika Dhillon, who also serves as the screenwriter.
