Paoli Dam is set to make her debut in Bengali OTT space with Kaberi, a series that will premiere on Hoichoi on October 8.
Known for her versatile performances on national platforms in shows like Karm Yuddh and Kaali, Paoli will now be sharing screen space with Sourav Chakraborty in the upcoming Hoichoi series.
Directed by Sauvik Kundu, Kaberi explores the themes of domestic violence and the resilience of a woman at the centre of it all. Paoli portrays the protagonist’s transformative journey. The official teaser of the upcoming series was dropped by the makers on Thursday.
“The time to live in fear is over. Kaberi is on her way, with a message of fearlessness,” Hoichoi captioned the one-minute-long teaser.
The teaser highlights Paoli’s vulnerability and strength as Kaberi, showing how she comes to terms with the domestic violence she has been enduring. It portrays the essence of a woman determined to reclaim her life.
