Kaberi Antardhan set to air on Colors Bangla

The film is directed by Kaushik Ganguly and stars Prosenjit and Srabanti Chatterjee in the lead roles

The critically-acclaimed thriller Kaberi Antardhan will air on March 26 on Colors Bangla at 2pm. The film is directed by Kaushik Ganguly Prosenjit and Srabanti and stars Prosenjit and Srabanti Chatterjee in the lead roles. The film, released in January this year, also features Churni Ganguly, Koushik Sen, Ambarish Bhattacharya, Indraneil Sengupta and Kaushik Ganguly in pivotal roles. Produced by Surinder Films, the period thriller is set in the small town of Hatimara, which is surrounded by tea gardens. Hatimara is a pro-extremist small town which has turned out to be a ghetto for the Naxalite movement in the last few years. Prosenjit plays the prolific artist Arghya, who has refused to move out of the disturbed small town for a better life. He is a smart, charming middle-aged man whose life revolves only around art. Kaberi Antardhan is a murder mystery set against the backdrop of the Naxal movement. The film revolves around a crime and a love story in North Bengal. Prosenjit as Arghya Sen pays a visit to the Ghosh residence and the mystery behind Mrinmoy’s (played by Koushik Sen) sudden demise comes to light and it starts unravelling the mystery of Kaberi’s disappearance (played by Srabanti Chatterjee). The channel will also air special episodes of Tumpa Autowali and Pherari Mon on March 26.
