Srijit Mukherji’s web series adaptation of Sharadindu Bandopadhyay’s novel Byomkesh O Durgo Rahasya is all set for streaming this Durga Puja. Anirban Bhattacharya takes on the role of Byomkesh Bakshi in this series, with Rahul Banerjee as Ajit and Sohini Sarkar as Satyabati. The show is a part of Hoichoi’s Best of Bengal collection.
The story revolves around a fort located in Janakigarh. There are several legends associated with the fort, ranging from family secrets to treasures concealed within its walls. A series of deaths brings Byomkesh to Janakigarh, with his pregnant wife and friend tagging along. As Byomkesh tries to crack the case, he faces opposition from various quarters.
