K-pop singer Se7en and Heaven's Fate actress Lee Da-Hae are set to tie the knot on May 6 this year after dating each other for eight years, the couple announced via Instagram on Monday.
“I have good news that I want to relay to you all first. I made the promise that on May 6th, I will be getting married to my girlfriend Lee Da Hae who has been with me for the past eight years and always showed me love,” Se7en wrote in Korean language alongside a picture of the two posing together in wedding attire.
Lee Da Hae also shared a set of pre-wedding pictures and wrote, “It's possible that this will be nothing to be surprised by, as we have been dating for the past 8 years after all...but why am I so shy to say this..I contemplated a lot about how to announce this news to you all. In the upcoming May, we promised to go from longtime lovers to husband and wife. As of right now, the word 'boyfriend' sounds more familiar, but I will live as a good wife and a great support to my dear, who will now be my companion for the rest of my life.”
The couple had started dating in 2015 and confirmed their relationship the next year.
Se7en has been making headlines for his theatrical performances in musicals like Dogfight and I Loved You. The 38-year-old singer is also the host on a YouTube web show Seven Golf Courses.
Lee, who has featured in numerous popular TV dramas, including Good Witch (2018) and Best Lover (2016), is on a career break.
