Star couple Jyotika and Suriya are currently spending a snowy vacation together in Finland, the Kaathal – The Core actress revealed in a new video on Monday, putting an end to the separation rumours that were rife following her temporary relocation to Mumbai last year.
Beginning with a view of the white landscape, the video montage, shared on Instagram, shows Jyotika sledging, cozying up in a tent, petting dogs, relaxing inside a glass igloo and riding a mountain motorbike with Suriya.
“2024 - a year full of travel. January : Finland (Arctic circle),” the 45-year-old actress-producer wrote alongside the video.
The couple, who have two children, exchanged vows in 2006 after several years of dating. Jyotika took a sabbatical from the film industry following her marriage and made a comeback nearly nine years later with Rosshan Andrrews’s 2015 Tamil-language comedy drama film 36 Vayadhinile.
Jyotika and Suriya have starred in numerous films together, including Poovellam Kettuppar, Uyirile Kalanthatha and Kaakha Kaakha. In 2013, they launched their production banner 2D Entertainment.
On the work front, Jyotika will next be seen alongside Ajay Devgn and R Madhavan in the Vikas Bahl-directed supernatural drama film Shaitaan, slated to hit theatres on March 8.
Suriya, on the other hand, recently wrapped up shooting for his portions in filmmaker Sivakumar Jayakumar’s upcoming fantasy action-drama Kanguva. In the film, Suriya shares screen space with Bobby Deol playing the antagonist Udhiran. Produced jointly by Studio Green and UV Creations, Kanguva also features Disha Patani as the female lead.
