Star couple Jyotika and Suriya are setting couple goals with their new intense workout video that has left fans in awe of the duo's fitness routine as a team.

“Double sweat, double fun,” Jyotika, who recently appeared in Shaitaan alongside Ajay Devgn and R. Madhavan, wrote alongside the video on Instagram.

The montage captures Jyotika and Suriya working out together in the gym, engaging in strength training and cardio exercises. They are seen running on treadmills, using gym ropes, lifting weights, and performing push-ups, squats and lunges.

The video also drew the attention of their fellow actors R. Madhavan and Shilpa Shetty Kundra. “Wow,” commented Shilpa, while Madhavan wrote, “Brilliant. Both of you.”

Jyotika and Suriya, who jointly won the National Film Award in 2020, have starred in numerous films together, including Poovellam Kettuppar, Uyirile Kalanthatha and Kaakha Kaakha. In 2013, they launched their production banner 2D Entertainment.

The couple had exchanged vows in 2006 after several years of dating. Jyotika took a sabbatical from the film industry following her marriage and made a comeback nearly nine years later with Rosshan Andrrews’s 2015 Tamil-language comedy drama film 36 Vayadhinile.

Jyotika and Suriya have two children together — a daughter named Diya and a son named Dev.

Recently, the actor duo travelled to Finland together, stalling separation rumours, which were rife following Jyotika’s temporary relocation to Mumbai last year.

Suriya recently wrapped up shooting for his portions in filmmaker Sivakumar Jayakumar’s upcoming fantasy action-drama Kanguva. In the film, Suriya shares screen space with Bobby Deol, who plays the antagonist Udhiran. Produced jointly by Studio Green and UV Creations, Kanguva also features Disha Patani as the female lead.
