BTS member Jungkook’s latest solo digital single Seven, featuring rapper Latto, has become the fastest song to top the iTunes charts in at least 100 countries, sparking an ‘ended BTS’ trend on social media for breaking several records including a few held by other members of the K-pop boy band.

The three-minute-46-second-long music video, dropped on Friday, also features Han So Hee alongside Jungkook and has the two of them playing a couple in the middle of a fight. Han So Hee’s character is mad at the singer for some reason while he is trying every trick in the book to make her happy. Released by HYBE LABELS on YouTube, the music video has already garnered over 37 million views.

Seven topped iTunes in 100 countries in just over 2.5 hours, breaking several previous records, including some held by other BTS members and the band itself.

Jungkook’s latest song is closely followed by Jimin and Ha Sung-woon’s With You, which reached the milestone in 4.5 hours. Jimin also holds the third position on the list, with his song Set Me Free Part 2 achieving the feat in 4 hours and 45 minutes.

Seven is Jungkook’s second solo release since BTS went on hiatus last year. The singer previously released Dreamers, which was a part of the 2022 FIFA World Cup official soundtrack.
