Jr NTR is set to collaborate with filmmaker Prashanth Neel for his next film, tentatively titled NTR 31, whose filming will begin from August, the makers announced on Monday on the occasion of the actor’s 41st birthday.

“Happy Birthday to the 'MAN OF MASSES' @tarak9999 -Team #NTRNeel. Shoot begins from August 2024. Brace yourself for a powerhouse project,” Mythri Movie Makers wrote on X (formerly Twitter) alongside an announcement poster.

Touted as a “powerhouse project”, the film will mark Jr NTR’s 31st film. Other details about the film are currently under wraps.

Tamil actor Dhanush shared his excitement over the duo’s collaboration. “NTR × Prashanth Neel ❤️‍🔥❤️‍🔥❤️‍🔥❤️‍🔥❤️‍🔥❤️‍🔥,” tweeted the 40-year-old actor, who is set to play veteran music composer Ilaiyaraaja in an upcoming biopic helmed by his Captain Miller director Arun Matheswaran.

Jr NTR is currently gearing up for the release of the first part of his upcoming action film Devara: Chapter 1, slated to hit theatres on October 10 in Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada and Hindi languages. Saif Ali Khan plays the main antagonist in the film, which marks Janhvi Kapoor’s Telugu debut. The soundtrack for the film has been composed by Anirudh Ravichander.
