Actor Jr NTR’s upcoming film helmed by KGF director Prashanth Neel, tentatively titled NTRNeel, will hit theatres on January 9, 2026, the makers announced on Friday.

The shoot for the upcoming film began on Friday, the production house announced alongside pictures from the pooja ceremony. “The moment we all have been waiting for is here #NTRNeel begins with an auspicious Pooja Ceremony. The DUO is all set to create a MONSTROUS HAVOC at the BOX OFFICE. See you all on his land from January 9th, 2026, “ it wrote.
The pictures feature Jr NTR sporting a black shirt and jeans as he holds the clapperboard. Other pictures showcase Jr NTR with Neel and the film’s crew.
The upcoming film was announced on May 20 this year to mark Jr NTR’s 41st birthday. “Happy Birthday to the 'MAN OF MASSES' @tarak9999 -Team #NTRNeel. Shoot begins from August 2024. Brace yourself for a powerhouse project,” Mythri Movie Makers wrote on X alongside an announcement poster.
Touted as a “powerhouse project”, the film will mark Jr NTR’s 31st film. Other details about the film are currently under wraps.
Jr NTR is currently gearing up for the release of the first part of his upcoming action film Devara: Chapter 1, slated to hit theatres on October 10 in Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada and Hindi languages. Saif Ali Khan plays the main antagonist in the film, which also marks Janhvi Kapoor’s Telugu debut. The soundtrack for the film has been composed by Anirudh Ravichander.
