The release of Jr. NTR's film Devara, earlier slated to hit theatres on October 10, has been moved forward to September 27, the makers announced on Friday.
“Sending a Warning Notice to all coasts about his early arrival Man of Masses @Tarak9999's #Devara in cinemas from 𝐒𝐞𝐩𝐭𝐞𝐦𝐛𝐞𝐫 𝟐𝟕𝐭𝐡! #DevaraOnSep27th ,” they wrote on the film’s official X handle.
By moving the release date forward, the makers of Devara have averted a clash with Alia Bhatt and Vedang Raina-starrer Jigra. The Vasan Bala-helmed movie is slated to release on October 11.
Directed by Koratala Siva, Devara will be released in two parts. Produced by Yuvasudha Arts and NTR Arts and presented by Nandamuri Kalyan Ram, the actioner features Janhvi Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan in prominent roles alongside Jr. NTR. Anirudh Ravichander is composing the music and R Rathnavelu is handling the cinematography for the film.
Koratala Siva and Jr. NTR have previously collaborated on Brindavanam, Oosaravelli and Janatha Garage. The RRR actor is currently shooting for Ayan Mukerji’s War 2 alongside Hrithik Roshan.
