Jr NTR on Friday congratulated his cousin Nandamuri Mokshagnya Teja ahead of his film debut with HanuMan helmer Prasanth Varma’s upcoming project.
“Congratulations on your debut into the world of cinema! May all the divine forces along with Thatha garu, shower blessings upon you as you begin a new chapter in your life! Happy birthday Mokshu @MokshNandamuri,” the 41-year-old actor wrote alongside a poster of Nandamuri on X.
Jr NTR’s post comes after Prasanth’s announcement of the film on X on the same day, introducing Nandamuri as the lead. “With great joy & privilege, Introducing you…’NANDAMURI TARAKA RAMA MOKSHAGNYA TEJA’ Happy birthday Mokshu. Welcome to @ThePVCU Let’s do it. Thanks to #NandamuriBalakrishna Garu for all the trust & blessings. Hoping to make this one much more special & memorable for everyone,” the HanuMan director wrote.
The upcoming film is the second instalment in the Prasanth Varma Cinematic Universe, following this year’s Hanuman, a superhero film based on Indian mythology. Upcoming films in the Prasanth Varma Cinematic Universe include Adhira featuring Dasari Kalyan and Jai Hanuman, a sequel to HanuMan.
On the work front, Jr NTR is currently gearing up for the release of the first part of his upcoming action film Devara: Chapter 1, slated to hit theatres on September 27 in Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada and Hindi languages.
The actor is also set to star next in a film helmed by KGF director Prashanth Neel. It is slated to arrive in theatres on January 9, 2026. Other details about the film are currently under wraps.
