RRR actor Jr NTR resumed shooting for some crucial scenes involving a massive water action sequence in Hyderabad for his upcoming Telugu-language action adventure film Devara on Monday.

The film’s official Instagram handle announced the news with an image of rippling waves. “After a short break and some rehearsals to execute the sequence on a massive scale, we are back on sets from today. #Devara,” the caption reads.

Last month, Devara’s DoP Rathnavelu had posted on Twitter some BTS photos from the sets. “Captured #Devara’s Brutal n Bloody action against a shimmering moonlit sea! @tarak9999 director #KoratalaSiva action choreographer @PeterHeinOffl,” he wrote.

Directed by Koratala Siva, Devara is produced by Yuvasudha Arts in association with NTR Arts. The film is presented by Nandamuri Kalyana Ram and is slated to release on April 5, 2024.

The film’s music has been scored by Anirudh Ravichander. R Rathnavelu is the cinematographer of the film, while Subu Cyril works as the art director and Sreekar Prasad as the editor.

Apart from Jr NTR, Devara also stars Janhvi Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan in key roles. The film marks Janhvi’s debut in Telugu cinema.
