Joy Ride
Lionsgate Movies has unveiled the official trailer of its upcoming American comedy film Joy Ride. Directed by Adele Lim, the movie is written by Cherry Chevapravatdumrong and Teresa Hsiao. It stars Ashley Park, Sherry Cola, Stephanie Hsu and Sabrina Wu.
The two-minute-32-second-long trailer follows the journey of four Asian-American women travelling through China in search of one of their biological mother. However, their journey goes south when they are tricked by a drug dealer. Now they have to pose as K-Pop stars to avoid imprisonment.
Joy Ride will hit the theatres on July 7.
United Kacche
ZEE5 dropped the official teaser of its upcoming comedy series United Kacche. Directed by Manav Shah, the series stars Sunil Grover, Nikhil Vijay, Sapna Pabbi, Manu Rishi Chaddha, Nayani Dixit, Satish Shah, Neelu Kohli, Diksha Juneja and Poojan Chhabra.
The one-minute-long teaser follows the journey of Tango, a Punjabi guy, who goes to England in search of a better life as an illegal immigrant. Upon arriving in the country, he is faced with the harsh realities of life as an immigrant in a foreign land.
United Kacche will arrive on the streaming platform on March 31.
Pachuvum Athbutha Vilakkum
T-Series has dropped the official teaser of its upcoming Malayalam-language film Pachuvum Athbutha Vilakkum. Written and directed by Akhil Sathyan, the film stars Fahadh Faasil, Viji Venkatesh, Anjana Jayaprakash, Dhwani Rajesh, Mukesh, Innocent, Vineeth, Indrans, Althaf Salim, Mohan Agashe, Chhaya Kadam, Piyush Kumar, Abhiram Radhakrishnan and Avyukth Menon.
In the one-minute-15-second-long teaser, we see a man (Fahadh Faasil) rushing to urinate on a wall in the open. Suddenly, a man tries to strike a conversation with him from the other side of the wall. We are also introduced to the other characters.
Pachuvum Athbutha Vilakkum is set to hit the cinemas on April 28.
Sengalam
ZEE5 has shared the official trailer of its upcoming Tamil-language political thriller series Sengalam. Helmed by S.R. Prabhakaran, the series features Vani Bhojan, Kalaiyarasan, Sharath Lohitashwa, Viji Bhairavi Chandrasekhar, Shali Nivekas, Manasha Radhakrishnan, Vela Ramamoorthy Bucks, Muthu Kumar, Daniel Annie Pope, Arjai, Pawan, Prem, Gajaraj and Pooja Vaidhyanathan.
The two-minute-22-second-long trailer shows a twisted tale about three brothers who are on a mission to exact revenge. The video is filled with glimpses of violence, betrayal and power struggles.
Sangalam will be streaming on ZEE5 from March 24.
