American wrestler-actor John Cena has thanked Shah Rukh Khan for bringing “happiness” to people around the world following the latter’s reaction to a viral video of Cena singing the Bollywood star’s Dil To Pagal Hai song Bholi Si Surat.

“You have given so many in the world so much happiness, thank you for all you do,” the 46-year-old WWE star wrote on X (formerly Twitter).

The tweet was a response to Shah Rukh’s recent shout out to Cena on the microblogging platform. The Dunki actor said that he will send the latter his new songs so that he can perform a duet with Canadian wrestler Gurv Sihra, who also appears in the viral video.

“Thank u both…. Love it and love u @JohnCena, I’m gonna send u my latest songs and I want a duet from the two of u again!!! Ha ha,” Shah Rukh wrote alongside the video.

Cena’s viral video, shared by one of Shah Rukh’s fan pages last week, features Sihra who teaches Cena to sing Bholi Si Surat after their gym session.

In the video, Gurv introduced John as a “pretty big Shah Rukh Khan fan”. The Suicide Squad actor repeated the lyrics after Gurv in Hindi and left netizens in awe.

Cena will be next seen in the action film Heads of State alongside Priyanka Chopra Jonas and Idris Elba.

Shah Rukh was last seen in Rajkumar Hirani’s Dunki alongside Taapsee Pannu and Vicky Kaushal. A sequel to his 2023 film Pathaan is on the cards, as announced by PVR Cinemas recently.
