Hollywood actress Joey King has unveiled the first official poster for her upcoming Netflix film A Family Affair, which also stars Zac Efron and Nicole Kidman in important roles.
"A Family Affair official poster. All I can say is…it’s the love story you never knew you needed," King wrote alongside the poster on Instagram on Tuesday.
The poster features King looking away from the camera with a disappointed expression, while Kidman is shown smiling. On the wall behind them are posters featuring Efron’s face.
According to the synopsis on Netflix’s official companion site Tudum, A Family Affair follows King’s character, whose life turns upside down after she walks in on her mother (Kidman) sharing an intimate moment with her former boss (Efron).
The movie's official logline reads, “A surprising romance kicks off comic consequences for a young woman, her mother, and her movie star boss as they face the complications of love, sex, and identity.”
The film also stars Liza Koshy and Kathy Bates.
Directed by Richard LaGravenese, A Family Affair is written by Carrie Solomon and produced by Joe Roth and Jeff Kirschenbaum. Michelle Morrissey, Alyssa Altman and Solomon are executive producers on the show.
A Family Affair is set to premiere on Netflix on June 28.
