Jimin’s MUSE to TWICE’s DIVE: 9 K-pop songs and albums dropping in July

Currently serving in the South Korean military, BTS' Jimin is set to drop his upcoming album MUSE on July 19

After songs from BTS’ Jungkook and Blackpink’s Lisa in June, K-pop fans are up for new surprises in July with fresh numbers and albums from Korean stars. Here’s a look.

STAYC

Album: Metamorphic

Release Date: July 1

STAYC's first full-length album, Metamorphic, is set for release on July 1. Featuring Cheeky Icy Thang as its title track, the physical album offers four versions — Cheeky, Icy, Figure (Limited), and Platform. The album has 14 tracks including Twenty, 1 Thing, Give it 2 Me, Let Me Know, Nada, Roses, Beauty Bomb, Stay With Me, Flexing On My Ex, and Trouble Maker. Their latest release before this was Fancy, part of the Spotify Single project, which came out on March 15.

BABYMONSTER

Single: Forever

Release Date: July 1

The new K-pop girl band BABYMONSTER has announced the release of pre-release single Forever on July 1. The full-length album will drop in October this year. On June 17, they unveiled a teaser for their upcoming digital single. The title Forever was later revealed on June 19. BABYMONS7ER is BABYMONSTER's debut mini-album, released on April 1 with Sheesh as the title track.

TXT

Album: CHIKAI (Japanese and Korean)

Release Date: July 3

CHIKAI is the fourth Japanese single mini-album by TXT. The album is set to drop on July 3. The tracklist of the album includes three songs — We’ll Never Change (title track), Deja Vu (Japanese Version) and Kitto Zutto. The last album of the band was Minisode 3: Tomorrow released on April 1. The group has impressed audiences since their debut in 2019 with CROWN, followed by other hit tracks like Blue Hour, Back For More, Cat & Dog, Sugar Rush Ride and PUMA.

TAEYEON

Single: Heaven

Release Date: July 8

Heaven is the eighth digital single by K-pop singer Taeyeon. It is scheduled for release on July 8. On June 24, Taeyeon released a preview clip providing a first look at the song. Her previous project, iScreaM Vol.30: To. X Remixes, was Taeyeon's second remix single, part of the iScreaM project, released on March 8.

GOT7 Youngjae

Single: T.P.O

Release Date: July 9

GOT7 member Youngjae is preparing to release his solo album T.P.O on July 9. It features a tracklist of two songs — T.P.O and Abnormal Temperature. This digital single marks Youngjae's return to music after an eight-month break since his debut full-length album Do It in November 2023. The singer also unveiled new teaser images that stirred excitement among fans. Recently, the GOT7 main vocalist wrapped up his Inside Out Asia Tour with concerts in Taiwan, the Philippines, Thailand, and Japan.

ENHYPEN

Album: Romance: Untold

Release Date: July 12

The fourth-generation band ENHYPEN is set to release their full-length second album Romance: Untold on July 12. The band so far has released a series of concept photographs and a concept film from the album with phrases like “Secret That I Share Only with You,” “Just Stay With Me,” “You’re Special” and “You Probably Have No Idea That I’m a Jealous Man”. Images of birthday cake candles and figures with heart-shaped wings also appear in their concept photos. The band previously released albums like ORANGE BLOOD, DIMENSION and MANIFESTO.

TWICE

Album: DIVE (Japanese and Korean)

Release Date: July 17

The popular K-pop girl group TWICE is gearing up to release their album DIVE, nearly two years after their 2022 album Celebrate. They made a successful comeback with their 13th mini album, With YOU-th, on February 23. Some of the popular releases of the band include SET ME FREE, The Feels, What is Love, and Dance The Night Away. Currently, they are wrapping up their READY TO BE tour in Japan.

Stray Kids

Album: ATE

Release Date: July 19

The renowned K-pop group Stray Kids has announced their highly anticipated comeback with their ninth mini-album, ATE, set for release on July 19, after an eight-month break. Their last album 5-Star released in 2023. Also, the band made a special collaboration single titled Lose My Breath, featuring Charlie Puth, which released on May 10. The band has also released a tracklist of eight songs from ATE — Mountains, CHKCHK BOOM (title), JJAM, I like it, Runners, Twilight, STRAY KIDS, CHKCHK BOOM (festival ver.)

BTS Jimin:

Album: MUSE

Release Date: July 19

After dropping the music video of Smeraldo Garden Marching Band from the album MUSE on June 28, BTS member Jimin is set to release the full album on July 19. The tracklist features seven songs including Rebirth, Interlude: Showtime, Smeraldo Garden Marching Band featuring Loco (pre-released), Slow Dance featuring Sofia Carson, Be Mine, Who and Closer Than This (already released on December 22, 2023). Jimin has contributed to writing six out of the seven songs in the album. He is currently serving in the South Korean military.
