Renner, known for his portrayal of Hawkeye in the MCU, sustained severe injuries in the snow plowing accident and had to be rushed to the hospital on January 1. The mishap had indefinitely delayed most of his projects including Rennervations.

According to Disney, Rennervations is an original four-part series that follows Renner’s lifelong passion to give back to communities around the world by reimagining unique purpose-built vehicles to meet a community’s needs.

On December 21, 2022, Renner released the poster of the show on Twitter.

On December 30, a day before his accident, Renner posted a teaser of the show on Instagram. It was slated to premiere after Christmas.
