Actor Jeremy Renner will appear in person at the Rennervations world premiere on April 11 at Los Angeles’s Regency Village Theater, according to the US-based entertainment magazine Variety.

This will mark the Hawkeye actor’s first press event since his snow plow accident on New Year’s day, which landed him in the hospital for blunt chest trauma and other orthopaedic injuries. Renner was run over by his Sno-Cat, which weighs over 6,000 kg, while trying to help his nephew out of the snow near his Lake Tahoe home.

The Hurt Locker actor broke over 30 bones as a result of his accident. He took to Instagram to share this road to recovery with his fans. In one post he wrote, “These 30 plus broken bones will mend, grow stronger, just like the love and bond with family and friends deepens. Love and blessings to you all.”

The 52-year-old actor recently posted an Instagram Stories video in which he was walking with the assistance of an anti-gravity treadmill. “Now is the time for my body to rest and recover from my will,” Renner wrote in the caption.

Rennervations is a four-episode vehicle renovation show where Jeremy Renner will team up with expert builders to acquire large, decommissioned government vehicles and re-imagine them as mind-blowing creations that serve kids in communities worldwide.

Disney+ shared a new teaser of Rennervations on Instagram on March 29. In the video, Renner is seen talking to four of his friends from the series, including Bollywood star Anil Kapoor, to go on four distinct journeys with him.

Rennervations will start streaming on Disney+ on April 12.
