Hawkeye star Jeremy Renner has shared a photo of him and his friend Rorry Millikin playing hopscotch with children on what appears to be a government school campus in India ahead of the April 12 premiere of his Disney+ Hotstar show Rennervations.
“We can’t be all work and no play! We learned a lot of new games during our time in India.” #Rennervation@disneyplus #india,” the 52-year-old wrote on Instagram, recalling all the games he played during the India schedule of the shoot in May 2022.
Rennervations, a four-episode show, was shot in four locations — Renner’s hometown Reno in the US, Chicago in the US, Cabo San Lucas in Mexico and Alwar in India’s Rajasthan. Millikin and Renner met with representatives of non-profit organisations like Big Brothers Big Sisters, The BASE Chicago, Uva Jagriti Sansthan and Casa Hogar of Cabo San Lucas in order to learn about the needs of the local communities during the course of their shoot. Anil Kapoor, Anthony Mackie, Sebastian Yatra and Vanessa Hudgens will also feature in the show, which follows Renner’s journey of turning decommissioned government trucks into water filtration vehicles to serve children’s needs in communities around the world. The actor is currently recovering from blunt chest trauma and broken bones following his January 1 snow-plow accident.
