Hollywood actress Jennifer Garner interacts with a sculpture of Blake Lively’s Lady Deadpool and jokes about Channing Tatum’s Gambit being the “messiest” in a new Deadpool & Wolverine behind-the-scenes video she shared on Monday.

"Roommates," wrote Jennifer, alongside the video on Instagram.

Set to Vanessa Carlton’s 2001 track A Thousand Miles, the video features Garner in her Elektra avatar, a role she originally played in Ben Affleck’s 2003 Daredevil movie from 20th Century Fox.

The 52-year-old actress rises from a jaw-shaped bed, stretches, expertly handles the sai like a ninja and laments the “bleak” state of her shared bathroom in the BTS montage.

“This looks like I could have made it,” Garner comments light-heartedly, stirring a few cocoa beans in a pan. She takes out a jar containing a mysterious liquid and claims it belongs to Wolverine, played by Hugh Jackman.

Garner had headlined her own Elektra spin-off in 2005. The recently released Deadpool & Wolverine, however, allowed her to bid a proper farewell to her character.

In one of her previous posts, Garner revealed that Ryan Reynolds and director Shawn Levy had initially pitched the role to her while they were working together on the 2022 film The Adam Project. "I remember the moment @slevydirect and @vancityreynolds had the idea for Elektra Natchios to show up in @deadpoolmovie 3—we were on the set of The Adam Project, and they gave each other this look they have that can communicate an idea, 20 pages of dialogue, nuclear codes—there is a crazy artistic kismet between those two," wrote the actress in a long note.

In addition to Garner, Lively and Tatum, Jon Favreau, Henry Cavill, Edward Norton, Chris Evans, Tyler Mane, Wesley Snipes and Dafne Keen also make cameo appearances in Deadpool & Wolverine.

The superhero movie, starring Reynolds and Jackman in the titular roles, has already crossed the USD 1-billion mark at the global box office since its release on July 26. In India, the movie is inching closer to Rs 130 crore nett.
