The tickets for Shah Rukh Khan’s latest blockbuster Jawan will be available for a discounted price of Rs 99 on Friday as part of the National Cinema Day celebrations, the 57-year-old actor announced via a post on X (formerly Twitter) on Thursday.
“#NationalCinemaDay par aap sab ke liye ek bahut khaas tohfaa, only for the love of cinema! Iss 13th October, jaiye aur dekhiye Jawan at just Rs. 99,” Shah Rukh wrote alongside a poster of Jawan.
The actor, who is basking in the success of the Atlee-helmed actioner, also shared a link that cinema-goers can use to book tickets.
Jawan, running in theatres in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu languages, has emerged as the highest-grossing Hindi film of all time, collecting over Rs 600 crore at the domestic box office and more than Rs 1,100 crore globally. Even after a month since its September 7 release, the film continues to earn more than Rs 1 crore daily.
With over 4,000 theatres offering tickets at a discounted price on National Cinema Day, movie-goers can also watch shows of Mission Raniganj, Fukrey 3 and Thank You for Coming for Rs 99 at PVR, INOX and Cinepolis.
