Shah Rukh Khan’s chemistry with Nayanthara makes the heart skip a beat as the duo groove to a catchy tune in a dreamy setting somewhere around Mumbai in the music video of Jawan’s new romantic track, Chaleya, dropped by T-Series on Monday.

Titled Chaleya in Hindi, Hayyoda in Tamil and Chalona in Telugu, the three-minute-eight-second-long music video showcases a clean-shaven Shah Rukh Khan in his timeless romantic avatar alongside Nayanthara. Sung by Arijit Singh and Shilpa Rao, the Anirudh Ravichander composition begins with Shah Rukh Khan and Nayanthara romancing on a moonlit terrace before taking them to a dreamlike setting.

Choreographed by Farah Khan, Chaleya is a combination of Shah Rukh’s signature style and Nayanthata’s grace and elegance as both of them groove to the tune in vibrant clothes. The dance is a mix of salsa and Bollywood freestyle, capturing the romantic lyrics penned by Kumaar.

Chaleya celebrates the power of love in its purest form. The video ends with the on-screen couple in the backdrop of Mumbai’s Bandra–Worli sea link as they walk hand-in-hand towards a fair.

“Ishq ho behisaab sa, beparwah, behadh sa! Kuch aisa hai Jawan ka pyaar!” wrote Shah Rukh Khan, sharing the music video on Twitter (now X).

Helmed by Atlee Kumar, Jawan is a Red Chillies Entertainment presentation produced by Gauri Khan and Gaurav Verma. The movie also features Nayanthara and Vijay Sethupathi in important roles, with a special cameo by Deepika Padukone.

Jawan is slated to release on September 7 in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu languages.
