The release date of Janhvi Kapoor’s political thriller Ulajh has been pushed to August 2, the actress announced on social media on Monday.

Directed by Sudhanshu Saria, the film was originally slated to hit theatres on July 5.
The official teaser of the film, released by the makers in April this year, revealed that Janhvi will play a young IFS officer, Suhana, in the film. The teaser reveals the young officer’s determination to kill or be killed while protecting the dignity, security and integrity of her nation.
Produced by Vineet Jain and Amrita Pandey, Ulajh also stars Adil Hussain, Gulshan Devaiah, Roshan Mathew, Yash Agnihotri, Jitendra Joshi, Rajesh Tailang, Meiyang Chang and Sachin Khedekar.
Janhvi has many other projects in the pipeline. The 27-year-old actress is set to star opposite Varun Dhawan in Dharma Productions’s romcom Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari. The film is slated to release theatrically on April 18 next year. The Mr. & Mrs. Mahi actress will make her Telugu cinema debut with Devara alongside Jr. NTR. Devara is scheduled to arrive in cinemas on September 27. She will also collaborate with actor Ram Charan for the first time for the second Telugu film of her career.
