Janhvi Kapoor has dropped a couple of posters of her upcoming political thriller Ulajh, where she plays the role of a young IFS officer named Suhana.
One of the posters features Janhvi in formal attire and carrying a file marked ‘confidential’, while the other shows the actress amid a crowd of suspicious-looking characters.
“Every face tells a story and every story is a trap. Iss #Ulajh ko Suljhao in cinemas near you from 2nd Aug,” wrote the 27-year-old actress, sharing the posters on Instagram on Wednesday.
Directed by Sudhanshu Saria, Ulajh was originally slated to hit theatres on July 5. The film will now arrive in cinemas on August 2.
The official teaser, released by the makers in April this year, revealed that Janhvi’s character Suhana becomes embroiled in a political conspiracy on foreign soil. However, the determined young officer is ready to kill or be killed while protecting the dignity, security and integrity of her nation.

Janhvi is set to star opposite Varun Dhawan in Dharma Productions’s romcom Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari, which is slated to release theatrically on April 18 next year. The Mr. & Mrs. Mahi actress will make her Telugu cinema debut with Devara alongside Jr. NTR. Devara is scheduled to arrive in cinemas on September 27. She will also collaborate with actor Ram Charan for the first time for the second Telugu film of her career.
