Indian actress Jahnvi Kapoor made her international runway debut in a Rahul Mishra-designed shimmery ensemble at the ongoing Paris Haute Couture Week 2024, which also saw Radhika Apte walk the ramp and Sonam Kapoor as a guest on Monday.

Janhvi strutted down the ramp in a black mermaid skirt and a matching strapless blouse from Rahul Mishra's Couture Fall 2024 collection Aura. Sharing pictures from her Paris Haute Couture Week debut, Janhvi thanked the designer for his intricate garments, unadulterated creativity and passion.

“A first thank you @rahulmishra_7 for having me as a part of your spectacular show that encapsulated energies and auras so beautifully...The slow soulful music, the patiently gliding models in your intricate garments and most importantly you and your family and team’s sincerity, simplicity, unadulterated creativity and passion made this a perfect first,” read Janhvi’s caption on Instagram.

A floor-grazing trail complete with gilled textures and dark holographic tones enhanced the visual appeal of Janhvi’s ensemble.

The 27-year-old actress wore her hair down and opted for kohl-rimmed eyes, extended lashes, nude lips, metallic eyeshadow and fake freckles to complement her look.

Reportedly the only Indian celebrity invited to Dior’s Haute Couture Fall/Winter 2024 show, Sonam Kapoor looked glamorous in a chic corporate outfit. She paired a crisp white shirt with a grey wool skirt, a cropped black leather jacket and a navy-blue tie. Pumps, aviators and minimal accessories completed her look. Sonam flaunted her brown highlights and opted for smoky eyes and dewy makeup.

Sharing a video that captures her getting ready for the event, the actress wrote on Instagram on Monday, “As usual inspiring and amazing.”

Radhika Apte walked the ramp as the showstopper for couturier Vaishali Shadangule’s Satori Fall/Winter 2024 collection. The actress turned heads in a voluminous turquoise cut-out gown featuring a peacock-themed bodice and an enormous 3D floral motif on the lower part that cascaded into a long elegant trail. Winged eyeliner, a braided bun and a statement diamond neckpiece completed Radhika’s look for the event.

Rahul also shared videos and pictures of Janhvi’s international runway debut on his Instagram stories.

The 44-year-old couturier had also designed a black sieve dress for Ananya Panday’s Paris Haute Couture Week Spring/Summer debut in January this year. The 25-year-old actress had taken to Instagram to share pictures of her runway walk as a showstopper at the event for Rahul’s Superheroes collection.

“This was such a moment! Walking for @rahulmishra_7 at Paris Couture Week… I loved the idea behind his collection ‘SUPERHEROES’ which draws attention to the nuances of sharing life with species of insects and reptiles that inhabit the environment with us,” Ananya had written in the caption to a carousel featuring behind-the-scenes stills and clips.

Paris Haute Couture Week Fall/Winter commenced on June 24 and will conclude on June 27 in the French capital.
