Janhvi Kapoor, Ananya Panday, Shanaya Kapoor and Sara Ali Khan were among the Bollywood celebrities who dazzled at Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant’s haldi ceremony on Monday. Here’s a glimpse of their outfits and some highlights from the event.
Janhvi Kapoor looked stunning in a yellow embellished sari adorned with tassels. She paired it with an embroidered full-sleeved blouse that featured a square neckline. The actress wore her hair down and chose minimal accessories and dewy makeup to complete her look.
Ananya Panday wore a peach anarkali suit with golden borders. She accessorised her ensemble with a stone-studded maang tikka, layered danglers and golden bangles. A sleek bun adorned with a gajra completed Ananya’s look for the event.
While Khushi Kapoor twirled in a strapless sharara suit, Shanaya Kapoor stunned in a blue and golden lehenga. Orry donned a turquoise kurta paired with a monochrome waistcoat and beige Crocs.
Much like her childhood friend Ananya, Shanaya accessorised her look with a stone-studded choker, matching studs, a maang tikka, and a white gajra. The 24-year-old opted for shimmery eyes, glossy lips and tinted cheeks to complement her ensemble.
Both Ananya and Shanaya later changed into orange kurtas for the ceremony.
Jaaved Jaaferi’s daughter Alaviaa Jaaferi was also present at the event. A picture from the ceremony shows Alaviaa, Khushi, Ananya, Shanaya and Orry smeared with haldi.
Sara Ali Khan rocked a Tanya Ghavri-designed lehenga choli. The hand-embroidered ensemble included a tie-black blouse adorned with handmade latkans. Kohl-rimmed eyes, bangles, darkened eyebrows and a bindi perfectly balanced Sara’s look.
Arjun Kapoor, who is set to play the role of an antagonist in Rohit Shetty’s upcoming cop drama Singham Again, looked dapper in a maroon kurta, white trousers and leather moccasins.
Arjun’s Singham Again co-star Ranveer Singh grabbed eyeballs in an orange kurta. Salman Khan was also spotted in a saffron kurta paired with black trousers.
Anant and Radhika are set to tie the knot on July 12.
