Actress Aksha Pardasany, who played the role of SP Dolly Sahu in Netflix’s crime thriller Jamtara: Sabka Number Ayega, tied the knot with cinematographer Kaushal Shah on Monday in the presence of family and friends.
Sharing pictures from their wedding ceremony, the 32-year-old actress wrote, “When Prayers ascend, hearts unite. With the blessings and presence of God and our families and loved ones, we became one ❤️.”
Aksha looked stunning in a red lehenga. A dupatta bedecked with 3D embroidery and beaded tassels adorned her wedding ensemble. Kaushal, on the other hand, sported a four-piece sherwani in ivory.
In the first picture, the couple was all smiles as they posed for the lens with their fingers pointed towards the sky. The couple were caught in a candid moment during their wedding ceremonies in the second photo.
The actress, also known for her role as an investigative journalist in Kathmandu Connection, had previously dropped pictures from their sangeet on February 24. While Aksha looked gorgeous in a red one-shoulder slit dress with sequined detailing at the waist, Kaushal rocked a glittery black sherwani.
“Sealed with a kiss 💋Let the celebrations begin,” she captioned her pictures.
The couple got engaged on February 12. “Thank God Baoji said ‘Jaa Aksha Jaa, Jeele apni zindagi.’ Let the celebrations begin,” Aksha wrote alongside a selfie in which she flaunted her engagement ring while hugging Kaushal from behind.
Kaushal is known for his cinematography alongside Shakun Batra in the 2022 film Gehraiyaan starring Siddhant Chaturvedi, Deepika Padukone and Ananya Panday. Aksha was last seen in the JioCinema heist comedy series Rafuchakkar alongside Manish Paul.
