Hollywood actor-singer Jamie Foxx, who had to be hospitalised in April owing to a “medical complication”, is seeing progress in his recovery, the 55-year-old said in an Instagram post, thanking fans for their love and support.

Sharing several photos of himself wearing a bucket hat and holding a pair of red Crocs, Foxx wrote, “You’re lookin at a man who is thankful… finally startin(g) to feel like myself… it’s been an unexpected dark journey… but I can see the light… I’m thankful to everyone that reached out and sent well wishes and prayers.”

“I have a lot of people to thank… u just don’t know how much it meant,” he shared. “I will be thanking all of you personally… and if you didn’t know… GOD IS GOOD… all day every day,” the Oscar-winning actor added, concluding his note with the hashtags “I’m back and I’m better” and “No bad days.”

Foxx was reportedly hospitalised for a medical emergency on April 11. Little is known about his medical condition. Earlier in April, Foxx’s daughter Corinne had issued a statement stating that her father had developed “medical complications”. She, too, had not revealed any details about the nature of the health problem.

Foxx was last seen in Netflix’s science-fiction comedy mystery They Cloned Tyrone.
