Actor-comedian-singer Jamie Foxx is “out of hospital for weeks” and has an exciting work announcement coming next week, his daughter Corinne Foxx has said following reports of the 55-year-old’s frailing health.
“Update from the family: Sad to see how the media runs wild. My Dad has been out of the hospital for weeks, recuperating,” Corrine wrote on her Instagram story on Saturday. “In fact, he was playing pickleball yesterday! Thanks for everyone’s prayers and support. We have an exciting work announcement coming next week too,” her story further read.

Foxx was reportedly hospitalised for a medical emergency on April 11. Little is known about his medical condition.
Foxx took to Instagram last week to thank his fans and friends for their support following his hospitalisation. “Appreciate all the love!!! Feeling blessed 🙏❤️🦊,” he wrote.
Foxx was last seen in Netflix’s horror comedy film Day Shift. He has three projects lined up this year — a voice role in Strays, followed by action thriller God is a Bullet and science-fiction comedy mystery They Cloned Tyrone.
