Ananya Panday’s cousin Alanna Panday is having a baby boy with her husband Ivor McCray V, the couple announced by sharing pictures and videos from a gender-reveal picnic on Wednesday.
“Who guessed it correct?,” the 28-year-old California-based social media influencer captioned a video in which she and Ivor revealed the gender of their baby at a picturesque location.
Clad in white outfits, both Alanna and Ivor can be seen sitting in front of a white cake at the beginning of the video. “I’m so excited,” Ivor, who is a US-based photographer and videographer by profession, says before both of them dig into the cake with their wine glasses. Soon, the light blue hue that symbolises them having a boy was revealed.
“Can’t wait to meet our little baby boy 🩵,” Alanna captioned an Instagram carousel posted hours after the gender reveal video.
Alanna had previously posted pictures from the picnic which featured pink and peach flowers complemented by blue leaves. Minimalistic balloons, teddy bears and crockery sets were also seen laid out on a picnic table. The cake had the word “Baby” written on it.
A few days back, the YouTuber had teased a view of their picnic spot and given a glimpse of their day spent together. “Did a little Gender Reveal Picnic Do you think it’s gonna be a BOY or GIRL?,” she captioned the reel.
Alanna announced her pregnancy in February with a dreamy maternity shoot.
The soon-to-be mother also recently shared a video on her YouTube channel, capturing Ananya, aunt Bhavna Panday and other family members’ reaction to the news of her pregnancy.
Alanna tied the knot with Ivor on March 16 last year in Mumbai. They had a white wedding which was attended by Ananya and her cousin Ahaan. “Yesterday was a fairytale, I love you more than anything in the world @ivor can’t wait to start a family with you,” she wrote alongside dreamy pictures from their wedding.
