Rohit Saraf, Pashmina Roshan, Jibraan Khan and Naila Grrewal play four friends going through the turbulence of contemporary relationships in the teaser of Nipun Avinash Dharmadhikari’s upcoming film Ishq Vishk Rebound, a sequel to 2003’s Ishq Vishk.
Dropped by the makers on Thursday, the one-minute-4-second-long teaser begins with Rohit’s Raghav introducing the characters of the film, saying it isn’t a typical love story. The subsequent scenes showcase the turbulent relationships among the four friends while a reimagined version of Alisha Chinai and Kumar Sanu’s Ishq Vishk song Chot Dil Pe Lagi plays in the background. We can see the characters going on a mountain trip, clubbing together and sharing intimate moments. The teaser ends with Raghav and Jibraan’s Sahir having a fight.
The film’s tagline also appears in the teaser— “Will you hold on, or will you move on?” Grrewal, who recently featured in Netflix courtroom comedy Maamla Legal Hai, plays a girl named Riya in the upcoming film.
“Get ready to fall in love all over again! Check out the teaser for 'Ishq Vishk Rebound' and get swept away by a whirlwind of emotions. Stay tuned for the ultimate romantic journey,” reads the description of the video shared on YouTube.
Recently, Hrithik Roshan rooted for his cousin Pashmina, who is making her Bollywood debut with the role of Sanya in the film. Sharing a character poster of Pashmina, who is seen sitting with a golf stick, on Instagram, the 50-year-old actor wrote, “So proud of you @pashminaroshan! You made it to this moment all on your own! Can’t wait to watch you shine ! Your spirit is going to take you far! #ishqvishqrebound is going to ROCK!! All the best to the entire team.”
