Rajatava Dutta, Subrat Dutt, Rupsa Chatterjee, Mishka Halim and Gautam Sarkar star in the web series Inspector Nalinikanto, which is streaming on KLIKK now.

Directed by Soumik Chatterjee, the series tells the story of cosmetic surgeon Aditya Sen and his wife Sharmila, who are celebrating their 15th wedding anniversary with some of their friends. Aditya’s advocate friend Shekhar is also one of the invitees to the party. Aditya’s patient Nisha starts calling him repeatedly and Sharmila gets to know about it. She not only humiliates him publicly but warns him of dire consequences.
One day, Sharmila is found strangulated. Crime branch officer Nalinikanto Kundu comes to investigate the case with assistant Mushtak. Sharmila is still alive, but in a coma.
“Aditya Sen, a renowned cosmetic surgeon, is very focused, flamboyant and an egoistical individual. This is such an intriguing thriller... the psychological depths of each of the main characters are very layered and nuanced. The shades of colours in their behaviour have been drawn out rather intricately in the series,” said Subrat Dutt.
“I really love the mood-changing layers of Sharmila, a rather dynamic woman being unnerved by the presence of the ‘other woman’. Sharing screen space with veteran actors like Rajatava Dutta and Subrat Dutt was an overwhelming experience for me. Audiences are in for a treat,” said Mishka Halim.
