Actress Sobhita Dhulipala has dropped a fresh set of pictures from her August 8 engagement with actor Naga Chaitanya in Hyderabad. Here’s a look.
A monochrome still shows Sobhita and Naga Chaitanya sitting on a swing. Quoting a verse from the Tamil poetic masterpiece Kurunthogai, the actress wrote, “In love our hearts are as red earth and pouring rain: mingled beyond parting.”
For her engagement, Sobhita donned an orange-and-pink embroidered silk sari. A peach-coloured gajra and gold-toned accessories, including a layered necklace, bangles and jhumkas, elevated Sobhita’s glamour quotient. Naga Chaitanya, on the other hand, wore a traditional white veshti (dhoti) and jubba (kurta).
Naga Chaitanya was previously married to actress Samantha Ruth Prabhu. The couple split in 2021 after four years of marriage. As per media reports, Sobhita and Naga Chaitanya sparked dating rumours with their European getaway in 2022. However, the couple had never officially confirmed their relationship prior to the engagement.
On the work front, Naga Chaitanya is set to headline Chandoo Mondeti's upcoming film Thandel alongside Sai Pallavi. Sobhita last appeared in Dev Patel’s directorial debut Monkey Man.
