Shraddha Kapoor, Keerthy Suresh and Mrunal Thakur were among a host of Indian celebrities who observed Ugadi and Gudi Padwa, the festival heralding the arrival of spring and the agricultural season, on April 9. Here’s a look.
Shibani Akhtar matched her red-and-blue sari with golden jewellery and sported a Maharashtrian-style nose ring to complete her ‘Marathi mulgi’ look.

Shraddha Kapoor looked ethereal in a red salwar suit embroidered with floral motifs as she spent time with her family.
Mrunal Thakur, whose Family Star with Vijay Deverakonda is currently running in cinemas, also celebrated Ugadi with her family.
Shilpa Rao and her husband Ritesh Krishnan sported a simple look for the festival. While Ritesh opted for an off-white cotton kurta, Shilpa donned a lavender salwar suit.
