The video also offers a glimpse of this season’s contestants. The makers shared another clip giving a sneak peek of a performance by Ritika Raj, a 26-year-old contestant from Patna.

A couple of behind-the-scenes videos capture the judges having fun on the set of the show. In one of the clips, Badshah gushes about Shreya and her singing prowess.

Last month, the makers announced that Badshah will replace Kumar Sanu to join Shreya and Vishal on the judges’ panel in the upcoming season of the show, to be hosted by Aditya Narayan.

The previous season of Indian Idol was hosted by Hussain Kuwajerwala and Aditya, with Kumar Sanu, Shreya and Vishal serving as judges. The finale took place on March 3, 2024. Vaibhav Gupta was crowned as the winner, while Subhadeep Das Chowdhury became the first runner-up.

Earlier this year, Shreya announced that auditions for Season 15 of Indian Idol are set to begin in cities across India. Revealing that the auditions for the singing reality show would soon start in various Indian cities, the 40-year-old singer encouraged aspiring singers to attend the auditions.

The popular Sony Entertainment Television show is the Indian adaptation of the British show Pop Idol.
