My five travel bag essentials are...

Chapstick, a phone, sanitiser, charger and nuts because I will have something to eat.

I have an OCD for...

You know when we go to a lot of events we shake a lot of hands and after that I really have to wash my hand for a good two minutes!

My secret binge...

Mera kabhi kuch secret binge hota nahi hai. Mera binge hota hai sirf Sunday ke din and woh sabke samne hota hai!

One fashion trend that should never make a comeback...

There are lots! Like balloon skirts. I hate them. They are disgusting.

My go-to hairstyle...

Blow-dry.

My comfort food...

Khichdi.

My thumb rule for fitness...

There is no cheating. Discipline is the key.

If I had to start a hashtag trend it would be...

Oh I would like to use that song… Katy Perry’s Roar. So #Roar.

Three people (not family) in the industry that I can turn to anytime...

Rohini, my PR person, who has also been my friend for the last 20 years! I don’t call her, but when I do it will be for advice. Maddy (R. Madhavan) and my manager.

A workout regimen I love and one I hate doing...

I love doing legs! I love it! The one I hate is abs; an ab workout is a killer.

I have a fetish for...

Sunglasses

My day is incomplete without...

Prayers.

My fave hangout spot in Goa is...

In Goa? It’s my room! (Laughs) When I am on holiday I don’t want to leave my room. All my in-laws were down, sister, then sisters-in-law, so we were like 17 people. So my son was looked after and I was on a holiday. I used to sleep till 10.30. My idea of chilling is to take a book and sit in a hammock with nariyal paani

A book that has inspired me lately...

Many, but the book that I am reading just now is You Can Heal Your Life and it has been inspiring. It is written by Louise Hay and she is brilliant.

If I wear a sari, I’ll definitely wear…

…It low! (Laughs)

The colour that makes me feel comfortable and powerful at the same time...

Burgundy, wine... similar hues. It’s a dark colour and it complements the dusky, olive skin that I have. You don’t have to think too much when you wear it. You can’t see bulges.

A trend I’m crushing on...

I am honestly not a trend follower but a trendsetter. Trends are all very temporary, but I like to keep it vintage, permanent and go for styles that don’t go out of style.
