T-Series on Saturday released the first song from the upcoming Hrithik Roshan and Saif Ali Khan-starrer Vikram Vedha. Titled Alcoholia, the peppy party number has Hrithik dancing to the tunes of Vishal-Sheykhar in a video that shows him having a blast as anti-hero Vedha.
The song was released at an event in Mumbai which was attended by the cast of the film, including Hrithik, Saif, Radhika Apte and director duo Pushkar-Gayathri. The event was streamed live on the YouTube channel of T-Series.
Alcoholia has been sung by Vishal Dadlani, Sheykhar Ravjiani, Snigdhajit Bhowmik and Ananya Chakraborty. Vishal-Sheykhar also created the music for the track while Manoj Muntashir wrote the lyrics for the song. In the music video of the dance number, Hrithik can be seen dancing to the choreography of Ganesh Hegde.

The music video focuses on Hrithik, one of the most talented dancers in Bollywood, making him the centre of the song. Hrithik grooves to the catchy song about alcohol and performs simple yet killer dance moves with a glowing alcohol bottle. He dominates the screen and delivers some memorable steps that can be a part of anyone’s dance step repertoire.
At the launch event, after the music video was released, Hrithik took the stage to dance to the song live in front of the audience. After his energetic performance, the actor spoke about his journey to fame.
“I had come for the first-day first show, walking up the staircases and sat in Gaiety Galaxy and watched my first film with the audience. When the lights went up after the show, people recognised me. That was the first time I experienced how audiences’ love and excitement feels and how important it was for me at that time. So, 22 years later, this is my 25th film,” said Hrithik at the event.
Speaking about his fitness journey he added, “I remember one thing that doctors had told me before Kaho Na Pyaar Hai. They said that my health is not so good that I can do action and dance. I took that as a challenge and focused on my health and fitness. It’s nothing short of a miracle for me personally that in my 25th film I’m still doing action and dancing. And I’m certainly able to say my dialogues. I think the 21-year-old me will be very proud of this me today.”
He concluded with a heartfelt message to his fans, “It wouldn’t have been possible without your support and love. Thank you.”
Vikram Vedha will hit theatres worldwide on September 30.
